Event Security & 24 Hour Response for Hampshire FA Locations
Task
With three locations the services were varied supporting the client and local authorities across Hampshire.
- Removal of illegal encampments and issuing notice to leave sites
- Protecting goods and assets on the Hampshire FA sites
- 24/7 CCTV monitoring of all sites
- Security dogs (K9) patrols to deter and protect the sites
- Disturb and deter any antisocial behaviour with our fully uniformed SIA certified security officers
- Risk assessments, lost child procedures and fire safety
- Prosecution and evidence support provided to local Police
- Advising councils of any fly tipping in and around the grounds and carparks
- During the Covid 19 staff were retrained frequently to understand and adhere to new rules and regulations coming out weekly. This ensured the DGCS team were protecting the staff, the public and themselves to the best of their ability whilst enforcing social distancing rules during matches
- DGCS security staff complete community patrols for all these sites providing advice, directions and information to the sporting fans and public in and around the grounds
- DGCS takes a proactive approach to preventing any security issues, protecting the clients property and equity
- DGCS give reassurance to the community with the security patrols for all of the Hampshire FA sites and are jointly funded by the local councils
About the client
Hampshire FA is the governing body for football in Hampshire, committed to developing the game at all levels. In line with The Football Association's National Game Strategy, Hampshire FA has produced a four-year plan aimed at providing everyone with the opportunity to participate in football for life and work with communities and councils to achieve this.
